Hello, Taiyouinc! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. --Saqib (talk) 07:21, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. It looks like you're very familiar with Wikipedia indeed, as you've copied and pasted large chunks of w:Mima, Tokushima without attribution. That's a no-no. Since the "Get in" section looks different, I won't summarily delete the article, but you need to (a) Acknowledge that the Wikipedia article was used; (b) edit suitably for style. This is not an encyclopedia, so the "Understand" section needs to have abstruse figures edited out. Also, we don't use footnotes on this site. Look at external links for the correct format. Finally, the article needs thumbnail photos, which you should be able to find in Wikimedia Commons. I wish I knew where to quickly find a template acknowledging Wikipedia. Sadly, I'm not sure where those are kept. I'll look around. But even sister sites must always be acknowledged unless you're briefly paraphrasing. It's at Wikivoyage:Template index. I'll insert it, but next time (if there is a next time), you insert it, please. Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:37, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ikan,

This may very well be true, as me & my friends/collegues are the ones who wrote the wikipedia page, as well as other pages on Mima, explaining the copying. We just want there to be information on this lovely city out there. Having said that, I've changed the About section, and I'll put in a link to the Wikipedia page if necessary. Cheers! —The preceding comment was added by Taiyouinc (talkcontribs)
