Thanks for your suggestion on cruising articles, it seems to have been well received, to the extent that I have started a project for it and moved the discussion from Travellers' pub to the project talk page. I hope you will join the discussion as you seem to have a good idea of what you would like to see. I'll try to drum up some interest.
[edit]The Seven Seas Cruising Association (SSCA) is one of the largest such organizations around. It has more than 10000 members. The SSCA Bulletin is what I had in mind when I mentioned a large archive of cruising guide articles.
I'm a member of SSCA. I'll post a note on their forum proposing that their members should come here and start a discussion.
