It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the travellers' pub. --W.carter (talk) 14:17, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Cart, I hope it's OK that I signed for you. It looks like you don't need an official welcome message as such, having found it on your own, so I'll just say I'm glad you've made it to this site, and have a look also at Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals, as you may want to add some information and listings to the articles about Lysekil and any other places you know about. Feel free to lean on me for any information about the way this site works that might not be obvious from the various links on this page.
All the best,

Hi Ikan Kekek, no problem. :) Since I had been doing some edits I thought it might be a good idea to start up my talk page here and since I welcome a lot of newbies on en-wiki, I know that these welcome messages contain a lot of useful links and tips I might need to get started here so it was an easy way to get access to the info. I have thought about adding info about Lysekil and places nearby, but also about places on Gotland. I lived there for about 30 years so on en-wiki I'm sort of the 'grey guardian' and go-to-guy on all things Gotland. I'm still not done with my pet project to give every district and place on the island an article, but I'm getting there. Thanks for dropping by! I'll see when I get around to do some real work here. I usually start slow and work my way up so I won't make too many big mistakes. :) --W.carter (talk) 14:17, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
As you wish. We'll leave the light on for whenever you feel like dropping by. :-) Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:15, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
