Do[edit]

Visit a local vineyard.

  • 1 Oregon Country Fair, +1 541-343-4298. A well-known annual hippie gathering near Veneta that started as an impromptu Grateful Dead concert in 1969. Food, music, handicrafts, dancing, etc. Toplessness is permitted and colorful outfits and body paint are encouraged. In dry, hot weather, there can be a lot of dusty dirt in the air, so veteran fair-goers typically wear bandanas or other cloths over their mouth and nose while walking the premises.
