Star Guide Usable Outline Redlink
Article Status To do
Bangalore Usable We need to use only one name for the city in the article; if we change the name of the article to Bengaluru eventually, we should use that name, but for now, it's Bangalore. The "Eat" section has a lot of listings without location info, and these should perhaps be deleted if no location info is available; there are also irregular sections after "Splurge". It would be fine to subdivide the "Budget", "Mid-range" and "Splurge" sections further by type of cuisine, for example, but the section is confusing the way it is now. It's also a very long section, so either a lot of it should be deleted or we should consider districtifying the article. I'm also quite doubtful about the list of Metro stations - do we do that for any other city? I think a description of the Metro routes and a link to the Metro's website would be quite sufficient, and it's fine to post a Metro map, but I'm not sure we want to have every Metro station shown on the dynamic map, though perhaps it doesn't hurt. My general sense is that this article needs to be proofread with a fine-toothed comb and edited accordingly. Bringing this article up to Guide level should be a top priority of this expedition.
Belgaum Outline No images, and insufficient info in listings.
Belur Outline The problems with this article are mostly described in style tags.
Hubli Outline See remarks for Belgaum, and if anything, the problems are worse in this article.
Mangalore Usable I'm not sure about the trains chart - we don't usually use those in Wikivoyage. "See" is no good - just a list of names. "Do" is also problematic and contains a temple, which is not a normal "Do" listing (rather, "See"). "Buy" is in prose instead of templated listings, and some malls lack any location description. The "Eat" section is not subdivided by price category; "Drink" is no better. "Sleep" needs to be thoroughly checked for touting and copy edited, and the first listing must be sorted. To sum up, there's a fair amount of (though not enough) information in this article, but it needs to be reorganized.
Manipal Manipal is a redirect to Udupi city. What's up with that?
Mysore Usable Listings need more locations and descriptions.
Ramanagara Outline Has only intro and "Get in." Everything else is blank.
Sakleshpur Outline Inadequate. The best section, "Sleep", is very irregular, as the directions are showing up as italicized URLs.
