I thought San Serriffe was destroyed in the Great Snow Storm of 2005. Can someone check on this for me? (WT-en) Sapphire 05:27, 1 April 2006 (EST)

Partly, yes. Didn't you donate to the Untied Nations effort for reconstruction? --(WT-en) Ricardo (Rmx) 07:13, 1 April 2006 (EST)

Talk section[edit]

Shouldn't we tone down "kindergarteners on crack stringing together letters plucked at random out of alphabet soup" within the Talk section. I mean, this seems like its a little heavy of an opinion... Is it that difficult? -- (WT-en) Ilkirk 10:33, 1 April 2006 (EST)

Excuse me, but...[edit]

May I ask why the core concept of this has not been properly attributed to the London Guardian, who first wrote about this supposed island nation back in the 1970s as an April 1 joke on its readers? Creative Commons is one thing, but to claim ownership over something that you did not write is just poor form. (See link: http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/hoax/Hoaxipedia/San_Serriffe/) -- Sean Martin

I guess on the day, it may have detracted from the joke, but I would agree with you adding the appropriate info to this now-defunct article. --(WT-en) inas 21:21, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
A link to the Guardian is present in the first line of the article, as it has been since the day it was created. - (WT-en) Dguillaime 21:22, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
