Wikivoyage talk:Main Page policy

Pretty good policy, I should say. There's only one thing I don't find logical: Do try to keep Featured links in order from oldest to newest, with oldest first. Here, "oldest" means "on the Featured list longest". I think it should be the other way around. A "new" link should be more prominent than an "old" one. This is also the way the News section works. You are absolutely right. That makes much more sense. I'll change the policy. -- (WT-en) Evan 11:47, 23 Nov 2003 (PST)

I realized that my caveats from Talk:Main Page were lost, so, here goes: we have lots of stuff on the Main Page that doesn't conform to this policy. Some stuff is CIA Factbook import crap, and it'd be great to start replacing those links on the Main Page to links to countries that have been converted. There's other things on there, too. I have added stuff that probably doesn't conform to this policy. It's more of a going-forward thing than a current-practices thing. -- (WT-en) Evan 11:54, 23 Nov 2003 (PST)
