Wikivoyage talk:Swedish Wikivoyage Expedition
Seems like we've got some good momentum on this, so I've started Project:LanguageSv.php (I think that's right). --(WT-en) Evan 16:32, 9 Aug 2004 (EDT)
It looks like we have 5 people, and as far as I can tell the Project:LanguageSv.php file looks good. The last thing we need is for the group to pick a go-between -- someone to report on the rest of the Wikivoyage community to the Swedish-speaking group, and on the Swedish-speaking Wikivoyage to the rest of the world. The other language versions have chosen go-betweens democratically (see Project:Romanian Wikivoyage Expedition for a good example), but there's no requirement in the Project:Language version policy for doing that.
If you guys can pick a go-between in the next few days, we can have a Swedish Wikivoyage ready this weekend. --(WT-en) Evan 14:40, 12 Aug 2004 (EDT)
- I'm quite shore that everyone has accepted/will accept that Alers is our go-between. I think the world is ready for a Wikivoyage in swedish. ;-) When will the site be set up? (WT-en) Väsk 16:23, 12 Sep 2004 (EDT)
Future of Swedish Wikivoyage
[edit]So, Swedish Wikivoyage has had extremely low participation for the last few months, and there hasn't been a go-between report since October. I'm having a hard time not seeing this as an "inactive site", per the language version policy. Low-traffic, unmaintained sites with no connection to the rest of the Wikivoyage community are not what we want. --(WT-en) Evan 19:30, 29 Mar 2005 (EST)
