Zamboanguita is a small (about 25,000) seaside town south of Dumaguete in Negros Oriental. It has a number of diving resorts and is a jumping-off spot for boat trips to nearby Apo Island.

There is a coastal highway from Dumaguete with buses and jeepneys running along it.

The village of Mapatay, part of Zamboanguita, has a large outdoor market on Wednesdays. The specialties are seafood and handicrafts.
