[edit]Central Kalimantan is also home for many endemic floras and faunas like orangutans, proboscis monkeys, hornbill birds, rattan, and Bornean iron wood.

[edit]- Tjilik Riwut Airport (PKY IATA), in Palangkaraya. has frequent flights from Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, and also direct domestic flights from Surabaya, Balikpapan, Pontianak, and smaller airports across Kalimantan.
