Kolomyia (Ukrainian: Коломия) (multiple spellings, also Kolomyja, Kolomyya, Kolomiya) is a town in the Ukrainian part of East Galicia. The town is in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains and therefore often serves as a starting point for hiking or cultural site-seeing tours in the Eastern Carpathians.

Many imposing buildings dating back to the 19th century. There are quite a few interesting churches in the centre as well.

• 1 National Museum of Hutsulshchyna and Pokuttya Folk Art, Teatralna 25. Tu-Su 10:00-18:00. This museum is dedicated to the local traditional Slavic tribes whose centre is Kolomyia. 12 грн.
