Northeastern Utah is a region which includes the counties of Dagget, Duchesne, Carbon, Emery, Uintah, and the eastern half of Summit county (east of longitude 111W).

Here you will also find the world's highest altitude long-distance hiking trail, completely above 11,000 ft, through the Ashley and Wasatch-Cache National Forests.
