New Port Richey, otherwise known as NPR, or New Port, is a city founded in 1924 that is full of restaurants, stores, and activities, in the Big Bend Coast region of Florida.

By car
[edit]US-19, a north-south route, passes through both Port Richey and New Port Richey, connecting it to other towns and cities in the area, and particularly to the south. Main St of New Port Richey intersects US-19, with restaurants, the theatre, and the historical society east of US-19.
Get around
[edit]Many roads are pedestrian safe, with sidewalks or bike trails, though, US-19 is known for not being safe for pedestrians.
- Pasco County Public Transportation. County provided bus service that has a variety of routes. Bikes permitted on bike rack, no permit required. Connections give travelers access to bus service that connects with Pinellas and Hillsborough county public transportation services.

- 3 Robert K. Rees Memorial Park, 3503 Green Key Rd (from US-19, turn west on Green Key Rd). Includes a beach and boardwalk.
- 4 New Port Richey Recreation & Aquatic Center, 6630 Van Buren St, ☏ +1 727 841-4560. M - F 5AM - 10PM; Sa - Su 8AM - 5PM. A fun aquatic and recreation center not far from the heart of NPR, it has tennis courts, a swimming pool, and more.
- 5 Cotee River Park (NPR Riverwalk), 7004 Grand Blvd (along the Cotee River from Massachusetts Avenue down to Main Street), ☏ +1 727 841-4560. A nice riverwalk along the Cotee River with benches, grills, and kayak launches.
