Newington is a town in central Connecticut, bordering Hartford, the state capital. Although the center of Newington offers several shops, the shopping center of the town is located along the Berlin Turnpike, which has a slew of stores and restaurants.
There are some historical places to see in Newington, but it is mainly a normal suburban town.

Get around
[edit]Newington is serviced by a regional bus system [CT Transit], although it only has limited stops. You can walk along the Berlin Turnpike, but this would be impractical without a car as it takes time to get from one location to the next, assuming you don't stop in every store.
