Tenero
Tenero is a small town located on the northern shore Lake Maggiore in Ticino, the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. It is about 4 km from Locarno.

[edit]Great train system, 20 minutes from Bellinzona and 4 minutes from Locarno. info and timetable for SBB rail online.
Locarno is the next biggest city.
Get around
[edit]Free shuttle bus for camping guests, free ship to Locarno only in summer. In summer, Tenero is a great place to ride a bike, within 30 minutes you will be in Locarno or in 1 hour in Bellinzona

[edit]Tenero is known for its campsites along the lake.
