  • 1 Fishing port. The fishing port for lamparo consists of illuminating the sea with a projector fixed to the boat in order to make Fish (sardines, mackerel) on the surface. Kelibia's port is the fourth largest fishing port in Tunisia. The harbor district is the most pleasant to visit with that of the fort. The port of Kelibia is thus dominated by the imposing construction perched on the top of a rocky hill.
  • 2 Fort of Kelibia. A citadel built in the sixteenth century, situated on a 150-meter-high rocky promontory overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Although the fort is home to Roman dating, most of the work was probably erected in the sixteenth century. The building surrounded by a wall reinforced by square towers is accessible by a door defended by a barbican. What is probably a former Byzantine chapel with three naves hosts an exhibition of various documents and records relating to the fort. Remains of military installations, an oratory and Ottoman basins complete the whole. The fort is now one of the main tourist attractions in the city of Kélibia.
