• 1 Castle Point Transport Museum, 105 Point Rd, SS8 7TD. April - Oct 1 and 3rd Sunday every month + all Sundays in August 10AM-6PM. Volunteer-run museum in an old bus depot built in 1934 housing 30 vintage buses and various lorries. (updated Jun 2016)
• 2 Dutch Cottage Museum, Canvey Road. Spring Bank Holiday - end Sept: Su 2:30PM-5PM, and some W. Built in 1618 by Dutch engineer who settled here to drain the land. (updated Jun 2016)
