La Porte is a city in Northwestern Indiana.

The municipal government maintains a website, though be careful to distinguish between the City of La Porte and LaPorte County when you navigate through the site, because the Visitor's Bureau of LaPorte County is in Michigan City, 20 miles to the northwest. However, there are other resources on the municipal site that are relevant to the City of La Porte.
