Khandala lies along the Mumbai-Pune route. many trains traveling between Mumbai and Pune stop here. Alternately one can get down at Lonavala and travel to Khandala by road or train. If traveling by road, one can also take the exit from the Mumbai-Pune expressway or travel through NH4. The closest airport is in Pune.
