Poppi is a commube of 6,400 people (2010) in the province of Arezzo, Tuscany. It is home to the 12th-century Poppi Castle.

  • 1 Poppi Castle (Castello di Poppi). The main building in the Casentino, known from 1191, was owned by the Counts Guidi. It has additions by Arnoldo do Cambio. It is noted for its courtyard and boldly conceived external staircase, its chapel with frescos and its library containing rare manuscripts and incunabula.     • Museum of the Campaldino Battle (Museo della Battaglia di Campaldino) (ground floor of Poppi Castle), +39 0575 502220. Reconstructs the battlefield where the two armies, the Aretine and Florentine, met at Campaldino on 11th July 1289. Partial access for the disabled.
