Săcele is a municipality of 31,000 people (2010) in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania.

Săcele is at the foot of Piatra Mare mountain. The Tărlung River, springing from the Ciucaș massif, passes through the locality in the southern part, near Gârcini.

Săcele is 15 km (9.3 mi) away from downtown Brașov. Săcele is on DN1, the principal way in Romania.

Buses make 120 round trips daily from Brașov.
