See

[edit]
  • 1 Stone Bridge Memorial Park, 2010 Thornton Taylor Pkwy, +1 931 433-6059. A stone bridge was built in 1860 but just a few years later William T Sherman ordered it burned. Somehow it escaped total destruction there but was carried away by floodwaters in 1969. You can see a reconstructed version with its arched design here next to Norris Creek along with some other pioneer buildings like a calaboose.
  • 2 Camp Blount Historic State Park, 1371 US-231, +1 931 433-2921. This is where military persons used to muster or meet during the Creek and Seminole Wars and even during the Civil War. There is not much to see, mostly just a sign and a grassy field.
  • 3 Lincoln County Museum Associates, 521 Main Ave S, +1 931 438-0339.
