Map of North Atlantic Coast (Morocco)

  • 1 Rabat - the capital of Morocco; very relaxed and hassle-free, highlights include a 12th-century tower and minaret
  • 2 Casablanca - this modern city by the sea is a starting point for visitors flying into the country. If you have the time, both the historical medina and the contemporary mosque (the second largest in the world) are well worth an afternoon
  • 3 El Jadida - the former Portuguese colony of Mazagan. A UNESCO World Heritage site
  • 4 Larache - main harbour of the former Spanish protectorate and charming seaside town
  • 5 Moulay Bousselham -
  • 6 Salé Salé on Wikipedia - city on the banks of the Bou Regreg river, located opposite its neighbouring capital Rabat.

Other destinations

[edit]
  • 1 Asilah a small beach town about an hour south of Tangier. It is the home of a great festival in August, with music and bazaars

This region travel guide to North Atlantic Coast is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here.
