Clorinda is a city of 47,000 in Formosa Province in the Chaco region of Argentina. Located 115 km north of the provincial capital, Formosa, Clorinda is just across the border from Asunción.

The bus terminal is towards the east end of Av. San Martín, with large "Flecha Bus" signs.

Get around

The main street is Av. San Martín. As the city is small, most places can easily be reached on foot, or by hailing a taxi. On the main street can be found the bank (Banco Formosa, ATM inside the door marked "Link"), several supermarkets and specialty stores, as well as eateries.

Hotel Residencial 9 De Julio is the oldest hotel in town, dilapidated but safe and with helpful staff. Has an internal courtyard suitable for storing bicycles and motorbikes. Located on the west end of Av. San Martín, near Av. Roque S. Peña. 2½ stars, from US$13 per night.
