• 1 Krishnagiri Dam (KRP Dam). A dam that spans the Thenpennai River. The park near the dam is a famous tourist spot. The dam is flooded with tourists during the weekends. There is a two-wheeler and four-wheeler parking facility available near the park. There are monkeys around the park. The park has a children's play area, fountains, a lawn and jogger footpath. ₹5. • Krishnagiri Museum, Gandhi Salai. The museum is known for its traditional culture, art and architecture, heritage and historical background is a blessing in disguise, to spread the traditional heritage, culture and art of Tamil Nadu and Krishnagiri District in particular. Historical monuments are preserved and exhibited here. It is not only a place of tourism but also a centre of education. This museum collects the monuments and classifies and preserves them to conduct research on their historical worthiness. The Syed Basha Mountain is famous for two Sufi martyr saints who were slain in a battle long ago, every year on the Tenth of Shawwal (Islamic month) a celebration is held.
