Rangia or Rangiya (Assamese: ৰঙিয়া Rāṅiẏā rahng-ih-ah) is a city of 96,000 people (2017) in Assam, not far from the Bhutanese border. Rangia is also known my multiple names , including as the City of Colors, Plantation Valley of Assam, Transportation Hub of Assam, Gateway to the Indo-Bhutan Border. The Baralia River flows through the heart of the city, Rangia is also the sub-district and divisional headquarters of North-East Frontier Railway.

It is 52 km from the state headquarters Dispur Guwahati and 39 km from Jalukbari.

National Highway 27 runs through the heart of the town.

Rangiya is important transit point in the region, nearly all trains halts at Rangiya Junction railway station. It is a junction of the New Bongaigaon–Guwahati section of Barauni–Guwahati line. It is one of the divisional headquarters of Northeast Frontier Railway. The Rangiya–Murkongselek line connects the state to Arunachal Pradesh.
