  • Bedford Public Library, 7 Mudge Way, 978-275-9440, [2]. Bedford's town flag[3], believed to have been carried by the Minutemen to Old North Bridge in Concord on April 19, 1775 is on display here. It is the oldest complete flag known to exist in the United States and is celebrated for having been the first U.S. flag flown during the Revolutionary War.

Bistro 44 located in the DoubleTree Hotel on Middlesex Turnpike has great food, presentation and service.
