Amtrak's Carolinian and Piedmont trains connect Burlington with Greensboro, High Point, Raleigh, Charlotte, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Richmond, and other cities. The Amtrak station is at 101 North Main Street.

Inside the park is the Cedarock Historical Farm which showcases 19th century farm life. There is also an old dam often mistaken for a waterfall.

- 1 Zack's Hotdogs, 201 W Davis St (at S Worth St), ☏ . M-Th 6:30AM-10PM, F-Sa 6:30AM-11PM. Hot dog and hamburger restaurant that has been in operation since 1928. They also offer a breakfast menu.
