Afon Llugwy at Capel Curig

Capel Curig is a village in the county borough of Conwy, popular with climbers and hillwalkers due to its location in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.

By car[edit]

Capel Curig is on the historic A5 London to Holyhead trunk road. There is an important road junction here, as the A5 continues between the Glyderau and Carneddau mountain ranges to Bangor and the A4085 turns further south to Llanberis.

By train[edit]

The nearest station is at Betws y Coed, 5 miles away.
