Central Espírito Santo is a region of the state of Espírito Santo in Southeastern Brazil.

  • 1 Vitória — an island-city surrounded by a strip of sea and washed by the Atlantic Ocean
  • 2 Afonso Cláudio — the Cordillera do Empoçado: is a mountain formation that forms a wall of stones and well-preserved forests
  • 3 Anchieta — a quiet town full of history. In summer, the great attraction of the city is the Carnival, considered one of the largest in the Holy Spirit
  • 4 Cariacica — its Carnaval de Congo, which takes place in April, is a manifestation of Afro-Brazilian culture, with great indigenous influence
  • 5 Domingos Martins — a city of Germanic architecture and cuisine
  • 6 Guarapari — a popular tourist destination with white beaches and modern skyscrapers
  • 7 Iconha — this town in the mountains offers beautiful river walks
  • 8 Piúma — coastal city that lives on fishing and handicrafts
  • 9 Rio Novo do Sul — its attractions are the various rivers, waterfalls, mountains and valleys, agrotourism properties, and handicrafts
  • 10 Santa Leopoldina — an ecological paradise, with an exuberance of waterfalls and a rich flora and fauna
  • 11 Santa Maria de Jetibá — small town with a rich Pomeranian heritage
  • 12 Santa Teresa — its mild climate, preserved Atlantic Forest, architecture, gastronomy, and the landscape of mountains and valleys are attractive
  • 13 Serra — it has popular beaches in Jacaraipe, mostly sought after by young people for surfing
  • 14 Venda Nova do Imigrante — celebrates its Italian heritage with festivals such as those of polenta and wine
  • 15 Viana — has three interesting churches, and a museum in a former railway station
  • 16 Vila Velha — famous for Convento da Penha (a 16th-century hilltop Franciscan convent), and the beaches of Praia da Costa, Itapuã, and Coqueiral de Itaparica
