There are several excellent restaurants on Market Street in downtown Corning. The Gaffer is an upscale steakhouse. Market Street Brewing Company, The Cellar and Three Birds are also excellent choices.

A long-time favorite among the locals and visitors is Aniello's Pizzeria on Market Street. Although the casual atmosphere of the crowd tends to be young, there is a large presence of middle age and older individuals who continue to swear their allegiance to the restaurant for many years. The restaurant specializes in thin crust, New York style pizza with a unique blend of cheeses and very light on tomato sauce. They also serve hot sausage sandwiches with melted cheese, and more familiar Italian dishes.
