[edit]Eleme is a local government area in Rivers State, Nigeria's South-South geopolitical zone, having its headquarters in the town of Ogale. Nchia, Akpajo, Alone, Ebubu, Onne, Eteo, Alesa, and Aleto are among the towns and communities that make up Eleme LGA.
Eleme LGA has a population of 174,612 people, with the Eleme ethnic sub-division being the most populous ethnic group in the area. Eleme LGA is home to the Nchia and Odido dialects of the Eleme language, which is traditionally administered by the One Eh of Eleme.
