Gibbons (pop. 3,200 in 2016) in the Edmonton Capital Region, located north of the city of Edmonton. Its close neighbour is Bon Accord (pop. 1,500), an even smaller town located just to the west.

Gibbons and Bon Accord are about 20 minutes north of Anthony Henday Drive (Highway 216), the general northern extent of the built up area of North Edmonton and can accessed via Highway 28 (97 Street in Edmonton). Gibbons can be accessed more directly by Highway 28A, which connects to Manning Drive (Highway 15) in Edmonton.
