Kanhangad
Kanhangad or Hosdurg is a city in the Kasaragod district of the Malabar region of Kerala, India.

Buses are available from Kasaragod, Mangalore and Kannur. There is a railway station at Kanhangad.

Extreme traffic congestion can be expected between 7AM and 9PM near the bus station area from Kottacherry circle to Old Government Hospital Circle.

- Karpooreshwara Temple, Poonkavanam, Hosdurg.
- 3 Madiyan Koolam Temple, Ajanoor (at Manikoth). This temple is dedicated to Bhadrakali.

- Theyyam Temple, Madiyan Koolam, near Kanhangad at Manikoth. Dedicated to Bhadrakali. During the temple festival in May/June and December/January, the ceremonious theyyam is performed here.

- Walk in the Virgin Beach, Vadagara-Mukku Beach, Kanhangad, behind the railway station (5 km).
- Yellow Hills (Ma njan.Pothi.Kunnu), Near Kalyan Road, Mavungal (5 km from the railway station). There is a Hanuman temple and Chirutheyi Cave here. Some other smaller caves are used for generating drinking water.
