Lalitpur is 100 km (62 mi) south of Jhansi, which is roughly a 2-hour drive along National Highway 44. There are four buses that go from Jhansi to Lalitpur daily.

The city is also served by the Lalitpur Junction railway station, which is part of the North Central Railway zone.
