By car
[edit]Lynchburg is located between two interstate highways, I-65 (north–south) and I-24 (northwest–southeast). Lynchburg can be reached from I-24 via Tennessee State Route 55 (Lynchburg Highway) through Manchester and Tullahoma or from I-65 via U.S. Route 64 (Pulaski Highway) through Fayetteville to Tennessee State Route 55.
Get around
[edit]As no public transportation is available, getting around by car or on foot is your best bet. Free parking is readily available at local businesses. The distillery is along the main highway going through town, so walking there is not advised, but you can explore the square and surrounding buildings on foot.

This distillery still makes Tennessee Sour Mash Whisky the way Mr. Daniel did. A variety of guided tours are available, one of which is open to all ages, while others are only for adults 18 years and older. The adults-only tours include tastings for those 21 years and up. Tours from $13–$75 (adults), $7 (10–17 years old), and free (9 and under).
- 2 Lynchburg Historic District, 196 Main St. Several dozen buildings built as early as 1850 in downtown Lynchburg make up the Lynchburg Historic District which is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places.

[edit]Moore is a dry county even though the Jack Daniels Distillery is here, so you have to drive to Tullahoma to get alcohol by the drink. Bottles of Jack Daniel's can be purchased at the distillery gift shop.
