Marguerite-D'Youville is a regional county municipality (RCM) of Montérégie, Quebec, Canada. Its head office is in Verchères. It was known as Lajammerais until 2011. It had a population of 80,000 in 2021.

Understand

The municipality is named after Marie-Marguerite d'Youville (1701-1771), a Catholic nun who founded the Sisters of Charity of Montreal, commonly known as the Grey Nuns, and administrator of the Montreal General Hospital. She was the first Canadian to be canonized.
