Moses Lake is a city in the Columbia River Plateau region of Washington State.

Moeses Lake is located at the junction of Interstates 90 and SR-17, approximately 177 miles east of Seattle and 100 miles west of Spokane. Road is the only practical way in, there is no commercial air or rail service. Greyhound has four departures daily to Seattle from a stop at the southeastern edge of town (see below).

  • I-90 is located south of town. Moses Lake is accessed from Exits #176 (W. Broadway) and 179 (SR-17 'Othello, Moses Lake, Ephrata'). Located 177mi/283km (2hr44min) east of Seattle and 100mi/166km (2hr) west of Spokane.
  • SR-17 goes through town connecting Moses Lake to Ephrata to the northwest (20mi/32km) and Othello to the south (26mi/39km).

By bus

1 Earnies Fuel Stop on 1810 Kittelson Rd NE, on SR-17 & Kittelson Rd (Exit #179 of I-90) in the outskirts of town serves as a de facto bus station for:

  • Greyhound, (bus stop) Earnie's Fuel Stop @ 1810 Kittelson Rd NE (Hwy 17 & Kittelson Rd, off of Exit #179 along I-90), +1 509 765-7340, toll-free: +1-800-231-2222. Travels primarily on Interstate 90 (Seattle,Ellensburg, Moses Lake and Spokane). The #11 and 30 buses connect Ernie's Truck Stop to the Multimodal Transit Center (bus station) in downtown.
  • Flixbus, (bus stop) Ernie's Fuel Stop @ 1810 Kittelson Rd NE (Hwy 17 & Kittelson Rd, off of Exit #179 along I-90), +1 509 765-7340. Travels primarily on Interstate 90 (Seattle,Ellensburg, Moses Lake and Spokane.). They also have an additional stop at the nearby Conoco Philips 76 Station on 1725 Kittelson. Check tickets, check schedules as to where the pick-up point is.
  • Northwestern Stagelines/Salt Lake Express, (bus stop) Ernie's Fuel Stop @ 1810 Kittelson Rd NE (At the big '76' sign on Hwy 17 & Kittelson Rd, off of Exit #179 along I-90), +1 509 765-7340, toll-free: +1-800-366-3830. Travels primarily on US Hwy 2 & Interstate 90 (Spokane, Moses Lake, Ephrata, Quincy, Wenatchee, Leavenworth, Stevens Pass, Skykomish, Everett, Seattle, Tacoma). Bookings can also be made with Megabus.

1 Grant County Transit Authority (GTA), (Multimodal Transit Center & Admin Office) 116 W 5th Ave (W 5th Ave & S Ash St), +1 509 769-0898. Operates public transit to surrounding cities & towns in Grant County on the following routes:.

By plane

  • 2 Grant County International Airport (MWH  IATA), (office) 7810 Andrews NE, +1 509 762-5363. For travelers this airport is only used fo general aviation and VIP flights. The airport is mainly used for cargo flights and aviation training and testing by Boeing, US Air Force/Air National Guard, Big Bend Community College, private flight training schools and their contractors and support companies. Map marker is at airport office/terminal building while the other companies and Big Bend Community College campus are in different locations surrounding the airport grounds. Nearest airports for commercial flights with multiple airlines are in Spokane (GEG IATA)109 mi (175 km) east via I-90 and in Seattle (SEA IATA)181 mi (291 km) west via I-90 & I-405.
