Understand

[edit]

Get in

[edit]

Traveling by matatu is the most common way reaching Nyahururu, they are plentiful but not very conformable. A trip from Nairobi should take four hours and cost around Ksh 700. The nearest major city, Nakuru, is about one hour away.

Kenya Railways operates a passenger service from Nairobi twice per week, while the journey takes 7½ hours it's a much more relaxing journey compared to a matatu.
