The Eastern Gulf Coast has the popular beachside resorts closest to Bangkok in Eastern Thailand. However, it also has highly industrialised sections with pollution problems. Hwy 3 aka Sukhumvit Rd spans the 400 km of coastline from central Bangkok to Trat province.
