- World's Largest Pecan. The courthouse lawn in downtown Seguin boasts what is purported to be the world's largest pecan.

- Super 8, 1525 Highway 46 North, ☏ . Free breakfast. The rooms with single king-size beds also have a jacuzzi.
- New Braunfels - Located 15 miles northwest of Seguin, this town is best known for its German culture and heritage, not to mention the Schlitterbahn, persistent in being voted the world's best waterpark.
- San Marcos - 20 miles north of Seguin, San Marcos is the home of Texas State University and its Aquarena Center, two massive outlet malls that have more than 350 shops, as well as stretches of river in a more natural state.
