A tourist train [dead link] runs three times a day until 12 Sept 2020 between Skipton, Settle and Appleby. The train uses diesel-hauled first class coaches and an adult day-trip is £29. This is in addition to the timetabled service by Northern Rail.

2 Victoria Cave, Langcliffe Scar. Cave with history going back centuries. The roof is dangerous and access is limited, but you can walk up to the entrance.

- North to Horton-in-Ribblesdale 6 mi (9.7 km) on the B6479 and the Ribblehead Viaduct 12 mi (19 km).
- North west to Clapham 6.5 mi (10.5 km) along the A65
- North west to Kirkby Lonsdale in Cumbria 17.4 mi (28.0 km) on the A65 and the Lake District National Park.
