Pizza Hut is not fast food??[edit]

I would not consider Pizza Hut to be fast food, as pizzas at Pizza Huts are not just slapped together in a mass process. That is why I listed Pizza Hut as a restaurant that is not a fast food restaurant. Wpollard (talk) 05:49, 11 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your advocacy for the Pizza Hut cuisine preparation process is admirable, however Pizza Hut is actually considered 'fast food' and not a distinct restaurant. Andrewssi2 (talk) 06:16, 11 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I see Pizza Hut is no longer listed in this article. Generally, generic fast food restaurants aren't listed unless there is something special about them (odd design, world's largest playground, etc). Although Avon Park is small, it has enough restaurants that fast food outlets don't need to be listed. If a town is so small that the only (or one of a couple) restaurant(s) are fast food, then it is acceptable to list chain restaurants. Example: Fort Meade#Eat. I would argue that Pizza Hut is not fast food. However, it is a multinational chain restaurant, which are undesirable for the same reason fast-food franchises are. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 07:03, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
