Not really in love with the current banner – to me, it looks like any other 19th-century Australian city. What about this one in Sovereign Hill? It's Ballarat's prime tourist attraction, and has better character IMO. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 06:05, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think in this case I slightly prefer the existing banner (0). The new banner is a good picture, but it looks too like a street - readers could assume that it was a typical view of a Ballarat street, rather than something inside a paying attraction. The new banner appears to be cropped from the same photo as that on Goldfields. AlasdairW (talk) 21:14, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
