Merge tag

Hi Hobbitschuster, I see you put a merge tag on this page and Fraser Canyon and Bridge River Country. Since you didn't put a reason, I'm guessing it's because there isn't much info on the page and not many cities. I'm not a fan of merging them for a couple of reasons:

1. Cariboo, Chilcotin and Fraser Canyon all have higher name recognition and historical context, and
2. I don't particularly like the "Canyons and the Cariboo" region as a travel region and plan on reworking it and surrounding regions anyway -- so I'd prefer to let things be until I put forward a revised region structure.

If people really think it's essential to do something about the two layers of regions, then i'd recommend eliminating Canyons and the Cariboo, promote Cariboo-Chilcotin as a top-level region of BC, and merge Fraser Canyon and Bridge River Country into Thompson-Nicola (and renaming it Fraser Canyon and Thompson Country, or something similar). -Shaundd (talk) 07:14, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

I've thought about it a bit more, and think it's OK to go ahead and merge this region with the top-level region (Canyons and the Cariboo), and then rename the merged page "Cariboo". I'd then merge Fraser Canyon and Bridge River Country into Thompson-Nicola (but hold off renaming it).
