Update
[edit]This county has a scattering of small places that are worth a look, but which are short of visitor amenities and don’t stand alone as “cities”. I don’t think this is a temporary effect of Covid, so I propose to merge:
- Kells (Kilkenny) > Kilkenny city
- Ballyragget > Castlecomer
- Callan > Kilkenny city
- Mooncoin > Waterford
- Inistioge > Thomastown
