[edit]

I'm seeking opinions on a plan here. I think Grand Cayman should be the main article rather than Georgetown. The other towns/villages on Grand Cayman seem to be too small to support an article and I think most folks that visit here will see the island as a destination in its entirety and, given time, "do" everything on the island. I suggest moving this article to a Grand Cayman article and then adding the "George Town" designations to addresses in the listings when appropriate". The two smaller islands probably deserve their own article... eventually. (WT-en) OldPine 20:50, 13 August 2006 (EDT)

Speaking with the authoritative voice of someone who has never even been close to the area, I say "why not"? But more seriously, this has been adopted for quite a few other islands (eg. Tioman). (WT-en) Jpatokal 22:46, 13 August 2006 (EDT)

Should "seatbelt use is mandatory" be removed?

[edit]

Under Get Around: By Vehicle, it says "seatbelt use is mandatory." Isn't that against WV:Obvious? Is there abnormally strict laws about seatbelt usage there? —The preceding comment was added by GCool1015 (talkcontribs)

In some countries and regions, seatbelt use isn't mandatory. So I'd say it's worth mentioning in the Cayman Islands article. But maybe not here. —Granger (talk · contribs) 02:54, 1 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
