Captain Kidd[edit]
"It is the birthplace of Captain Kidd"
Has this not been debunked and that he was born in Dundee? The page for William Kidd says this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Kidd (added by Mbrou at 15:43, 9 November 2017).
- I think that this statement should be removed from the introductory paragraph. An Understand section could mention it, explaining who Kidd was and saying that he claimed to come from Greenock, but evidence suggests Dundee. AlasdairW (talk) 22:11, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
