isIn x 3[edit]

The reason I put three:

  • Florida - 'cos it's partly in Florida
  • Mississippi - 'cos it's partly in Mississippi
  • USA - put this last so it would display at the top of the page

Is 3 isIn's useful??? - no idea! - but I've seen similar multiple isIn's on other pages in similar scenarios, what the purpose of the "hidden" ones is I don't know. ~ 203.144.143.3 23:38, 24 September 2006 (EDT)

Well, the first two are good. When the breadcrumb system is fully functional, they'll work. The last is an okay compromise.... but if the National Seashore is more accessible from one state, then I'd make it the prefered isin instead of the whole USA. -- (WT-en) Colin 23:56, 24 September 2006 (EDT)
Great to know! Thanks! (WT-en) OldPine 06:53, 25 September 2006 (EDT)
Don't we have a Gulf Coast region? Hmm guess not, it's a disambig. It doesn't really fit in South (United States of America) either. Oh bother. There really is a pretty unique and common culture-like-thing along the gulf coast through the relevant states, but adding it would cause more complexity. Bother. The Alabama and Mississippi sections of the park are pretty far away from each other. Maybe we could split this article in two? There's not much information about the Mississippi side, and it's kind of hard to figure out where to write about it, with all the stuff about the Florida islands. My preference would be to keep this as a single article, and sub-divide major sections in a similar way to what was done for Channel Islands National Park. -- Ryan • (talk) • 00:34, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Public Domain Photos[edit]

Photos from the US Park Service are available here. They are in some kind of photo CD format, need to be processed before uploading. (WT-en) gamweb 07:22, 7 October 2008 (EDT)
