Large vs small[edit]

Hakodate is Hokkaido's second biggest city, so yes, it is pretty big by most standards. (WT-en) Jpatokal 01:29, 11 June 2007 (EDT)

Actually the third largest I think (Sapporo and Asahikawa are larger. Wikipedia editor Saganaki 202.213.147.38 03:36, 29 June 2007 (EDT)

I removed the part on the 二人の北東北函館フリーきっぷ, the pass for two persons, as this is not available since now 2 years (source: JR East Japan) --61.204.205.6 02:30, 29 December 2007 (EST)

Seikan tunnel: Longest undersea tunnel[edit]

That's correct, but one could thing it means that it has the longest undersea portion (which is not the case: it's the Channel tunnel). A less appealing (but also less misleading) way to say it is that the Seikan tunnel is "the longest undersea tunnel with an undersea portion". — Fabimaru (talk) 18:53, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'd rather say: The longest tunnel that goes under a body of water. The only tunnel in the world that is longer is as of today the Gotthard Base Tunnel. But that tunnel does not go under any body of water... Hobbitschuster (talk) 22:22, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
